Nga Waka Gamay Noir 2025

Nga Waka have been established in Martinborough since 1988, mostly known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.   This is their very first vintage of Gamay Noir. Winemaker Paul Mason, also behind the Mason Hidden Vineyard wines, has kept it fresh and unoaked, letting the fruit do the work.

A lovely mix of blackcurrant, cherry, plum and violets, with a plush texture and gentle fruit tannins. It is a light style, bright and juicy with good length.

Stock is genuinely limited on this first release, so it's worth getting in quick if you want to try it.
