Choose any bottle from our shelves to enjoy on-site. Set in a former shoe shop, the space retains its original charm with wood shelving, exposed brick, and a stained glass window, complemented by a stylish European-inspired courtyard.

Our venue is also available for private hire, perfect for celebrations, corporate events, and weddings. We cater to groups of 20–80, offering tailored wine and food packages to suit your needs. These change month to month - we regularly have wine-makers visit to tell their story or we host a particular theme (French, Italian etc).

An Evening with Jen Parr & the Wines of Valli

Jen Parr is one of New Zealand's most decorated winemakers, and the wines she crafts at Valli sit among the finest this country produces. Join us for a guided tasting of six Valli wines — including two side-by-side sub-regional comparisons that reveal exactly how Central Otago's distinct pockets shape a wine in the glass. Same hands, same vintage, different ground: it's the clearest way to taste what "sense of place" really means.

Six pours, one exceptional winemaker, and a rare chance to taste the subtleties that set Valli apart. Book your spot.

Adele Souster’s exhibitionJourneys Past and Present at Flagstaff Gallery, brings together a collection of evocative oil paintings inspired by journeys throughout the New Zealand landscape over time.

From the coastal beauty of Waiheke Island and views towards Rangitoto to the open countryside and snow-covered Desert Road, Souster captures places both familiar and remembered with a keen eye for light, atmosphere and sense of place.Moving between coast, countryside and city, these works invite us to pause and reflect on the landscapes that shape our journeys — past, present and ongoing.

Join us beforehand - 5pm at Flagstaff Gallery - for the exhibition opening.

At 6pm, come across the road to Vic Road Wine Bar for the artist’s talk. We look forward to you joining us!
