Moy Hall Reserve Syrah 2022

Cool climate notes of white pepper, black raspberry and Black Doris plum, with a dense core of fruit and silky, smooth tannins.

Single vineyard and single batch, fermented with 25% new oak and 14 months in barrel, co-fermented with 3% Viognier skins for added lift.

Drinking beautifully now, and built to reward a few years in the cellar.

The fruit is grown on the steep edge of the Moy Hall Terrace Block, the home vineyard and warmest of their three Martinborough sites, where old vines above the Huangarua River give the wine its depth and structure.

All the Moy Hall wines are tasty, well made wines but this one in particular gets my attention.
