A generous, oak-aged Chardonnay from Mascota Vineyards in Mendoza, high up in Argentina's wine country. "La Mascota" is their core range, and this one spends nine months in French and American oak.  =

It opens on butter, pear and marzipan, that follows through.  There is enough oak influence to build some richness without overpowering the fruit. A crowd-pleaser with real substance to it.
