Lethbridge 'Ooh La La' Chardonnay 2022, Geelong

A polished cool-climate Chardonnay from Lethbridge in Geelong, Victoria. "Ooh La La" is made in the Lethbridge house style, generous and full without being overbearing.  Barrel-fermented on wild yeast with lees stirring over seven months in French oak (old and new), which builds texture without tipping it into heavy.

A clean, pure nose of ripe melon, lemon zest and white peach.  Some subtle vanilla and toast from the oak. The palate has a lovely texture balanced by mouth-watering acidity.  This is an elegant take on a  classic style.
