Huntress Kuratea 2023

Jannine Rickards aims to create wines that are an extension of herself - a winemaker, a skilled forager, a gardener, a hunter and above all, deeply committed to fostering the connection between the earth and the palate.

Huntress Kuratea is a vibrant blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and a small amount of Syrah.  It is light style red which is best enjoyed chilled.

The Pinot Gris was fermented on skins, the Pinot Noir underwent carbonic whole-bunch fermentation, and the Syrah was partially whole-bunch fermented — each component adding its own texture and personality.

The result is a wine bursting with intense berry fruit and spice. It’s fresh, structured, and deliciously moreish — a true crowd-pleaser.

Best enjoyed lightly chilled, Kuratea is an ideal companion for warm days and shared tables. Pair it with summer salads, grilled vegetables, or a chilled charcuterie board to highlight its vibrant, refreshing character.
