Frankland River Touriga Nacional

Touriga Nacional is usually a staple grape of Portugal and best known for its use in port.

Grown in the cool climate of Frankland River, this variety takes on a distinctly Australian expression while retaining the variety's signature perfume, structure and intensity. 

Dark berries, black cherry and plum flavours mingle alongside dried herbs and violets.  A concentrated palate but with freshness and firm tannins that carry through to a long persistent finish.  A distinctive red that pairs beautifully with rich meats and hard cheeses and is a great alternative to Aussie Shiraz.
