Domaine Lafond Lirac Roc Epine 2023

Domaine Lafond is another old winery which has been around the Rhone region since the 18th century.  Their Roc-Épine label is named after the family's champion racehorse from the 1960s and has become something of a reference point for the Lirac appellation.

This white blend is majority Grenache Blanc with Roussanne and Viognier, all grown organically across the estate's 74 hectares.

Expect a golden colour with a good mix of ripe fruit, lime and white flower aromas, with a touch of spice and pepper on the finish that gives it some grip alongside the freshness.

This would work well with grilled prawns or a light seafood curry.  A go to for me!
