Churton Marlborough Viognier 2024

A beautifully expressive Viognier that has both richness and restraint. Aromatically, there is lifted notes of apricot, ripe stone fruit and warm summer florals, layered with subtle hints of ginger and spice. 

On the palate, the wine is mouth-filling and dry with a silky, almost creamy texture balanced by freshness. Flavours of peach, apricot and ripe plum carry through alongside a gentle savoury edge.  The finish is long, textured and deliciously complex.

If you are a tiny bit scared of Viognier, you should give this one a go.  It has great freshness which blasts the old school 'oily' style of Viognier into the past.
