Anne Collard Côtes du Rhône 2022

An easygoing,  interesting Rhône red, made without oak and with minimal sulphur.  The palate shows dark blackberry and blackcurrent with bay leaf, soft cocoa and black pepper.   

A smooth and rounded wine with nice freshness, medium weight and gentle tannins.  It leans towards being slightly more savoury than fruity.  A great expression of Cote du Rhone and very easy to pair with food.  Try it with a rich meat dish or just a simple cheese platter.

Variety: Grenache (50%), Mourvèdre (20%), Marselan (20% ), Syrah( 10%)
