Albariño Brothers Gisborne Albariño 2024

Started by three mates, Ollie Powrie, Shaye Bird and Ant Saunders, Albariño Brothers grew out of a shared obsession with the variety (and between them, six daughters keeping them busy outside of wine).

This is bright and lively, leaning into citrus, green apple and lime peel, with softer notes of white peach and a touch of floral lift. The palate is tight and fresh, with a clear saline edge and mineral feel that nods to classic Rías Baixas Albariño styles, while still showing plenty of ripe, New Zealand-grown fruit.
